Get Verified for 10x Mining Advantage

You can get verified on EarthBucks again.

Verification gives a 10x mining advantage: each share that a verified account mines counts ten times. For more than a year, only accounts that were already verified had this advantage. Now anybody can get it again. This time, verification is built into EarthBucks directly, and you pay for it with EBX.

This post explains what changed and how to get verified.

A short history of verification

Verification is not new on EarthBucks.

• December 2024. EarthBucks started to verify accounts with Identellica, a separate identity website. You got verified on the Identellica website and paid in US dollars.
• May 2025. Verified accounts got the 10x mining advantage. Mining stayed free for everybody, but each share from a verified account counted ten times.
• July 2025. I stopped verification with Identellica, because the system was complex and unfinished. After that, nobody could get verified. Accounts that were already verified stayed verified. These accounts are “grandfathered”.

Since then, the grandfathered accounts have had many months of free verification. New users had no way to get verified, so they had no way to get the 10x advantage.

What is new

• Verification is built into EarthBucks. There is no separate website. Everything happens on the Verification page.
• You pay with EBX, not US dollars. The price is 100 EBX for each year. You pay from your EarthBucks wallet.
• Anybody can get verified again, including new users.

If your account is grandfathered

If your account was verified with Identellica, it stays verified for one more month, free. Your verification ends on November 8, 2026 (UTC).

To keep your benefits after that date, pay for one or more years. When less than 30 days remain, the avatar menu and a banner remind you. The time that you buy starts at the end of your current verification, so you lose nothing if you pay early.

What verification gives you

• 10x mining advantage. Each valid share from a verified account counts ten times, so your part of each mining reward increases by the same factor. This is the main reason to get verified.
• Verified block messages. Only verified accounts can post messages in blocks.
• The verified badge. Other users see the badge on your profile.

How the payment works

• The price is 100 EBX for each year. There is no subscription and no automatic payment. You pay one time, and the payment buys verification time.
• You can buy from one to five years. A payment adds its years to your current verification time. Your verification can never end more than five years after the payment.
• Your time is always visible. The Verification page shows how much time remains and the date that it ends.
• When the time ends, you lose the benefits. You keep your account, your history and your EBX, and you can pay again at any time.
• Payments are final. Before you pay, the app shows the amount, the years and your new end date. Payments are not refunded.

How to get verified

1. Sign in to EarthBucks.
2. Open the avatar menu, and select Verification. You can also go directly to earthbucks.com/verification.
3. Select the number of years.
4. Swipe or press the button to pay.

Your account is verified when the payment is finalized. This is the same point at which a payment on the Pay page arrives. If you reload the page during the payment, the app continues from the current state. It never charges you two times for one payment.

If a payment needs too many inputs

Many miners hold their EBX in thousands of small amounts, one for each mining reward. One payment can spend at most 100 of them, so before, a payment of 100 EBX could fail with an error.
